What Is MPS?

Managed Print Services (MPS) is the active management and optimization of print devices.

MPS is an emerging industry in which many service providers and copier dealers claim to participate. However, not all companies claiming to be “MPS providers” provide customers significant advantages over current methods of print device management.

What does Inkwell provide in partnering with customers through MPS?

  1. A team of Inkwell consultants, auditors, and strategists conduct an assessment of existing fleet by documenting each device by make, model, and location. Inkwell then conducts an audit of how many documents are produced by each device on a monthly basis.
  2. Inkwell collects all cost information including copier leases, maintenance agreements, break-fix service, preventative maintenance, and printer cartridges.
  3. Our team compiles all collected data revealing a total monthly expenditure and total monthly volume of both mono (b&w) and color pages.
  4. A strategy is formed which provides new, faster equipment, fleet standardization, and scanning capabilities where beneficial.
  5. Inkwell provides results to customer and proposes to implement strategy while providing documented savings.

You would prefer to focus your time on your business rather than managing and ordering toner cartridges, negotiating with copier reps, budgeting for new equipment, dealing with copier service techs, returning leased copiers and paying the 15% residual plus shipping, handling help desk calls, and dealing with break - fix issues.

There really is a more productive use of company time. Having one vendor you can count on every time really simplifies things.
